Sorry it’s been a little quiet here as far as images, it’s that crazy time of year!!! Summer’s almost here, and that means GRADUATION. I’ve been busy getting seniors in and out as quickly as possible, designing grad cards, editing, etc…the list goes on! Hope everyone has a great week!!! ♥

I know, I know, crazy, but my current music obsession happens to be Drake. I’m typically a country girl, but there’s something I loooooooooove about him! I really love the lyrics, if you listen, which I always analyze them too much, but there’s some meaningful stuff in there!! I have always liked a variety of music, but with the kiddos around, I tend to keep it PG! LATELY I have been sooooooo wrapped up in editing, if I throw my headphones on, I turn on spotify, and listen to my hearts content:) When you’re at the computer for 5-8 hours a day, you gotta change it up, I’m always looking for new music to listen to or shows to watch.

WOW, what a night! Erikka’s session was definitely one full of memories;) First off, let’s just talk about the STUNNING image below, isn’t she beautiful!!? So natural and so photogenic, we had a wonderful session! I keep asking myself “WHAT did these girls have in their Wheaties that I didn’t have!!??” I mean really!? I knew once I heard the shutter click on that image, it was going to be one of my favorites, possibly even my NEW favorite shot ever:) Enjoy a quick peek at our session!!

The Small BIZ!

I wouldn’t normally post two random blogs in a row, but I came across this little saying this morning and I had to share!! I am such a huge supporter of small businesses, especially those ran by other busy mommies like me! These days I do all I can to support my local small businesses and online ones as well. When I have a hankering for some Starbucks, I head over to my new local coffeeshop, Groundhouse Coffee (thank you sister for introducing me to that one!). It’s amazing, cheaper, and I love the atmosphere, plus it’s a local small business, so of course I want to do my little part to keep them going! Etsy is one of my FAVORITE places to purchase all kinds of goodies, from home goods, to props, to dresses for the girls, yet again, supporting the small biz! SO, todays moral of the story, show your local small businesses LOVE and all the ones online!!:) AND thank you to all my clients that have helped my business grow over the last few years, can’t believe it will be 5 my year anniversary next year!!!!

Just look at her, Barbie fishin’ pole in hand, ready to take her first ride in the boat with Dad…ready to catch some fish!! Pretty sure they only caught 3 that afternoon, but that didn’t matter, she loved every minute of it. She is so lucky to have her Dad, we all are of course! The little things, just like this, she’ll remember, they will mean so much to her, and him:) I know I have fond memories of fishing with my family at “THE PIT.” A little piece of land a few miles south of my hometown my family used for hunting, fishing, and camping. The bond between a little girl and her Daddy is like no other. This little princess definitely loves hers, she has no idea how lucky she is to have one like him!

When I walk away from a session, I think to myself wow, that went great, the light was perfect, I don’t know how it can get any better, yet somehow, it does!!! My session with Sophie was nothing short of amazing;) I LOVED her outfits and she looked absolutely gorgeous! The weather was lovely and the night went off without a hitch. The last few days have been so hectic! It’s crunch time! Graduation is just a little less than a month away and everyone’s in a rush to get things done, including me!! I do love this time of year though, and I can’t complain about this amazing weather we’ve been having!! It’s given me a chance to get out and shoot all these gorgeous Seniors:) Up tonight on the blog, we have Ms. Miranda! I LOVE the dark hair, makes her blue eyes pop!
